These bracelets are each hand carved from recycled flip flops! 

Passionate about the oceans, its ecosystems and marine wildlife our friends in East Africa collect flip flops from beaches and roadsides in Mombasa, a gorgeous coastal town. The flip flops are carefully cleaned, stacked, then glued together in various colorways. Different artists hand sculpt and sand these into beads and then wind them into bracelets. They also make small sculptures of animals, fish, porcupines or whatever their imaginations lead them to create. Sourced from our friends in Kenya.
